This hike in the Flemish Ardennes is a great introduction to the region, it shows you some of the most beautiful landscapes and panoramic views. If you’ve never been to the Flemish Ardennes (Vlaamse Ardennen in Dutch) I would highly recommend taking on this adventure.

This might be the best hike in Bouillon, Belgium. A 28 kilometer long hike with an elevation gain of over 1200m will take you along some of the most beautiful viewpoints over the Semois valley. I didn’t count them but supposedly there are 14 in total. The last viewpoint is over the medieval castle of Bouillon which is a great end to this beautiful but quite challenging hike.

A wonderful rather easy hike at chateau de veves that passes through the quaint little villages of Veves and Furfooz. Later into the hike you will witness some beautiful rock formations from ‘Parc de Furfooz’ along the Lesse river.

This hike in the Saint-Hubert forest allows you to really enjoy silence and take in beautiful green atmosphere. Most of the way you will have a stream of water running next to the trail with once in a while a glimpse of a waterfall. This hike in a beautiful region of the Belgian Ardennes is rather long but because of the easy to navigate paths it never really feels hard.

Hiking in Stoumont offers you everything you’d expect of a typical Belgian hike. The hike follows the Amblève river, passes some beautiful viaducts and the highlight is definitely when you pass Chateau de froidcour.
